Tim is a seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience in the tech industry. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Backplain, he brings a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship and business development. Prior to Backplain, Tim founded Epik Systems, an AI Consulting Firm and Kazuhm, a distributed computing company. Throughout his career he has held senior technical positions at Intuit, Bridgepoint Education, New Century Mortgage, Reverse Vision and Neoforma (GHX).

Reed is a technology executive with over 25 years of experience. He has focused his global career in product management, IT, and software development. He has had extensive experience working in the U.S., Asian and European entertainment, e-commerce, and telecommunication industries from start-ups to Global 500 companies. He has held executive technology positions at IMG, LVMH, Intuit, PCCW, ID Analytics, Qwest, KPN, Charoen Pokphand, True, and Sumitomo.

With 25 years of experience working across all aspects of the product lifecycle, Kevin has proven insight into identifying and matching market opportunities with differentiated positioning to build a compelling story essential for product or service success. He has worked in the U.K. and U.S. for McDonnell Douglas Information Systems Ltd, launching new computer hardware and software, as well as for software companies such as FileNet (now IBM), AMR Research (acquired by Gartner), and multiple start-ups.

Michael brings more than three decades of software business experience to his COO role at Epik Systems. A proven results-driven executive, his career in the UK and USA with FileNet, IBM, Kodak, Olivetti and ViewStar, has included starting companies, managing acquisitions, bringing innovative software products to market, and growing worldwide IT services businesses.
